Hi Year 12s,
Here is a final step by step guide on how to prepare.
Step 1: Fill out the ModC HSC Tables with techniques and examples from your composition
Step 2: Complete high quality practice composition for the 5 types of questions. If you can manipulate your composition to fit multiple questions, then you don’t have to prepare for all 5.
Step 3: Annotate your composition, just like you did with your prescribed texts. Techniques should include both macro and micro techniques, and at least 10 unique techniques on language, setting, form and structure, and others that are relevant to your text type.
Step 4: Write a reflection on each of your compositions. Remember that the reflection can be nearly HALF of your marks. Look at the checklist that you have received from us.
You can most likely manipulate your reflection to fit compositions.
Step 5: Practice writing with a time limit. Check spelling, grammar, hand writing!
