Your Turn – character

Select one of your prescribed texts from school.

Step 1: Analyse the composition.

• Describe the characters in the prescribed text (use adjectives!)
• How are the characters represented?
  • Relationship with other characters
  • Identify techniques + insert example
• Highlight all the adjectives, nouns, verbs used to describe the character
• Choose 5 sentences and insert into the table

Step 2: Apply what you learnt

Choose a character (from prescribed or your own) and mimic the prescribed text to describe your character
